This is Hasegawa's
F4u-5 Argentine Navy Corsair in 1/48 scale. Tamiya Sea Blue and Black were
used for the finish. The decals are from the box although Aerocalcas does
a nice sheet for this kit too. There is a bit of airbrush weathering to
simulate age along the wings and fuselage.

The kit was
fairly straightforward to complete. The nose and cowl were not a
good fit and needed to be corrected. The anchor decals were also
though adhere and shrink well into place. I used a coat of future
with Microset and Microsol to get them to snuggle down. Finally a
coat or two of model master flat laquer sealed it all.
